Biography

Debashis Chakraborty joined the Department of Chemistry, IIT – Madras in 2005 after the rigourous post – doctoral and industrial experience. He is an organometallic chemist and his research focusses upon catalyst development for polymer synthesis and homogeneous catalysis, activation of water and CO2

Research Interests

Honors and Recognitions

Debashis Chakraborty is not a proponent for “self nomination” through application for various awards conferred by the Government of India in Academics and various other national agencies. He has been honored by most international journals in his area of research and various chemical societies through regular invitations to review publications and participate at various levels in major international conferences
