Experts from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka came together for the Multistakeholder Webinar on Policy Comprehension to Mainstream Climate-Resilient Agro-Farming Practices in South Asia on July 16, 2024. Hosted by the South Asian Forum for Environment (SAFE), India, in collaboration with the Progyan Foundation for Research and Innovation (PFRI), India, the event featured keynote addresses from leading academics and policymakers, followed by a panel discussion on policy challenges and implementation gaps. Participants stressed the importance of aligning policies with grassroots realities, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and strengthening climate adaptation strategies in agriculture. The session wrapped up with a collective vision to enhance climate-smart policies for a more resilient agricultural sector across South Asia.
